Docket books are books made from carbonless or NCR paper. They are generally used by trades people or staff who need to be on site. Docket books are ideal for Invoice books, Quotation books, Timesheets books, Receipt books. However as each book is custom printed they can be designed for any purpose.
Typically books are printed in sets of 5 or more and can be any size but standard paper sizes of A4, A5, DL/A6 offer the most economic value. They are typically books of 50 or 100 sets in duplicate or triplicate, with the last sheet unperforated to remain in the book.
The top sheet is generally white with a combination of yellow, pink, green and blue for the subsequent pages. A good tip is to specify the purpose of each colour at the very bottom of the printed form. For example, White = Customer, Yellow = Office, Blue = Book.
Aviva Print prints and binds invoice books as either Quarterbound or Common bound books. 1/4 bound books are encased in a crocodile like extra heavy cardboard cover, stapled and then taped over the spine. Common bound is the same process without the tape, but with a manilla softer cardboard cover - ideally used for office environments.
